Disclaimer: I am vegan and gluten-free by preference. This information reflects my personal experience and is not intended as dietary advice. I also mentioned some non-gluten-free options that my husband enjoyed, so always confirm the ingredients with waiters.

1. The Modern Vegan (TMV)

  • Price: $20–30 per person.
  • Open: Daily from 10 AM–10 PM.
  • Location: They have two locations: one in Las Vegas and the other in Michigan.

The Modern Vegan (TMV) serves vegan food in an American style and has been voted as the best vegan restaurant in Las Vegas two years in a row. They are popular for the best plant-based burger. We visited it before we departed from Las Vegas after experiencing the Backstreet Boys residency in Las Vegas.

The restaurant is outside the strip, and you definitely need to get a ride share to get there. I ordered the skillet tofu scrambled, and my husband ordered the Philly cheesesteak.

It was very flavorful, and this is a spot you must visit if you are craving American-style food; they have a variety of dishes from breakfast to dinner, including waffles, wraps, and sandwiches.

2. Nacho Daddy

  • Price: $20–30 per person.
  • Open: Mon–Tue: 10:30 AM–2 AM | Wed–Thu: 10:30 AM–3 AM | Fri: 9 AM–3 AM | Sat–Sun: 9 AM–2 AM.
  • Location: Side street of Planet Hollywood Hotel. They also have several locations in Vegas and others in Tennessee and Utah.

Nacho Daddy is your spot for vegan Mexican food in Las Vegas, and while this restaurant is not entirely vegan, it does offer a dedicated vegan menu with some gluten-free options. This spot is not only a place to eat but is a place to hang out on the Las Vegas Strip and enjoy a couple of cocktails.

My only complaint is that we found the food a little bit greasy, but the flavor was good, and the portions were huge. I would consider sharing with my husband next time we visit. Ingredients were fresh, and it’s a place I would visit if I want to have a combination of food and drinks.

They have indoor and outdoor seating, and there is a second level for additional tables. I ordered the Vegan Daddy’s Bowl without the vegan chick’n (to make it gluten-free). My husband ordered the vegan loaded nachos from the Nacho Daddy Las Vegas menu.

3. Crossroads Kitchen Las Vegas

  • Price: $50–100 per person.
  • Open: Mon–Thu: 5–9 PM | Fri–Sat: 5–10 PM | Sun: 10 AM–2 PM & 5–9 PM.
  • Location: Floor 1 of Resorts World Las Vegas by the casino area. This is the second restaurant of this chef; the first one was opened in LA, California.

Crossroads Kitchen Las Vegas is an upscale, Mediterranean-inspired restaurant in Las Vegas. You don’t have to, but reservations are available; I have visited two times and never had any issue eating without a reservation.

Once you get into the entrance, you’ll be greeted by the front desk waiter, who will find your assigned waiter. Once you get your assigned waiter, you will pass on your left side the bar and enter the dimly lit, elegant dining area filled with a mix of rounded and square tables.

Everything in their Crossroads Kitchen Las Vegas menu is 100% plant-based, and they have several dishes that can be customized to a gluten-free version. We ate the calamari fritti with a red sauce; the crunchiness was exquisite, and we had to ask the waiter about the dish because we could not believe how similar it looked to calamari.

For dinner, I tried the Tagliatelle Bolognese (gluten-free version), and my husband ordered the Fettuccine & Truffles. My husband mentioned that the salsa was very creamy; he tried both and was impressed by my GF pasta, mentioning he can barely differentiate between regular wheat and GF.

The atmosphere is very elegant and is a perfect spot to go for a romantic date with your partner. There is no strict dress code, but I spotted some people well-dressed in the restaurant. However, the first time I visited, I was wearing casual clothing.

4. Tacotarian (Downtown Las Vegas)

  • Price: $10–20 per person.
  • Open: Daily from 11 AM–9 PM.
  • Location: Several locations, including a Tacotarian on the Strip inside Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort and Casino (Floor 1). However, I visited the Downtown location because I was visiting the Mob museums in Las Vegas.

Tacotarian is known for having the best plant-based tacos. If you visit the one on the strip, you might love that this location offers vegan brunch all day on the menu.

I visited Tacotarian Las Vegas several years ago, and I missed taking pictures of my dishes, but we ordered the mushroom asada tacos (portobello, chilli powder, onion, and cilantro), and the barbacoa tacos (chili-braised jackfruit, onion, cilantro), and both tacos are gluten-free.

5. True Food Kitchen

  • Price: $20–30 per person.
  • Open: Mon–Thu: 11 AM–9 PM | Fri: 11 AM–10 PM | Sat: 10 AM–10 PM | Sun: 10 AM–9 PM.
  • Location: First floor of the Forum Shops at Caesars, and they have several locations, including Florida, California, and Arizona.

While True Food Kitchen is not entirely plant-based, they offer several vegan and gluten-free options. Most of their dishes are seasonal, and the menu varies by location.

My personal favorites are the Korean noodle bowl (glass noodles, pickled shiitake, organic spinach, carrot, bean sprouts) and the spaghetti squash casserole (caramelized onions, fresh vegan mozzarella, DiNapoli tomato sauce), both of which are gluten-free.

Note: You need to ask for vegan mozzarella cheese to make the spaghetti squash casserole plant-based.

The best part is that they have several vegan and gluten-free dessert options to end your meal on a sweet note.

6. Pizza Forte

  • Price: $10–20 per person.
  • Open: 24 Hours.
  • Location: First floor of the Virgin Hotel Las Vegas by the casino area.

Pizza Forte is a small pizza spot for those craving pizza after hours. They are not vegan, but they do offer vegan cheese and customizable veggie toppings to make a vegan pizza, and they also offer a gluten-free crust.

We discovered Pizza Forte after staying in the Virgin Hotel. If you are staying in the Las Vegas Virgin Hotel as we did, you’ll find this spot super handy.

7. Slice of Vegas Pizza Kitchen & Bar

  • Price: $20–30 per person.
  • Open: Sun–Thu: 11 AM–11 PM | Fri–Sat: 11 AM–12 AM.
  • Location: First floor of Mandalay Bay hotel, very close to the connection between Mandalay Bay and Luxor hotel.

Slice of Vegas is another pizza spot with several vegan options that Las Vegas Strip travelers will appreciate, including gluten-free crust. They have had a separate vegan menu for over 10 years, providing vegan options in Vegas long before it was even a thing.

Besides pizza, the vegan menu includes sandwiches, soup, pasta, and dessert. Similar to Nacho Daddy, this spot is also a good place if you want to combine food with a couple of drinks and watch games because they have several large TV screens.

Overall: Vegan Food On the Vegas Strip
