Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady Cabins: What to Expect
While you won’t find a towel animal on the Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady cabins, you can look forward to a spectacularly clean space equipped with several amenities.
The modern style and adult-only vibe make the Virgin Voyages cruise 🚢 one of my favorites. Having sailed twice on Valiant Lady and always picked the same cabin type, I’m excited to share my insights.
In this post, I’ll cover what the cabins include, what to bring for a better cabin experience, and tips for making informed cabin choices.

Virgin Voyages Cruise Overview
Virgin Voyages is an adult-only cruise line that launched in 2021. Those who sailed during its inaugural year earned prestigious Sea Blazer status.
The cruise line features four sister ships 🚢 Scarlet Lady, Resilient Lady, Valiant Lady, and Brilliant Lady (set to debut in 2025). Each ship’s name corresponds to an iconic individual mermaid 🧜♀️ image, creating a unique stylish vibe.
How Many Cabins On Virgin Voyages?
There are 1,330 cabins and 78 RockStar Quarters suites aboard. The ships prioritize cabins with balconies and ocean views (86% feature a balcony and 93% feature an ocean view).
The design of the Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady and its sister ships doesn’t resemble a typical cruise ship style. In my opinion, it feels more like a chic boutique hotel vibe. The four ladyships are very similar in the plan deck, but in this post, I’ll focus on the Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady cabins experience.
Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady Ship
The Valiant Lady is the second cruise ship that embarked on the Virgin Voyages cruise line (May 2022). She offers memorable seven-night itineraries in the Mediterranean, departing from her homeport in Barcelona.

Since November 2022, the Valiant Lady has been making sails from Miami port. These trips offer exciting trips to the Caribbean and often stop at the Beach Club at Bimini.
Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady Cabin Types
Insider Cabins
The inside cabins on the Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady are typical budget-friendly options because there is no window. You’ll find inside cabins in the Mid & Forward areas of the ship. Virgin Voyages offers three types of inside cabins.
🛏️ Solo Insider: The smallest cabins in square footage are designed for solo sailors (Deck 5 and Deck 8).
🛌 Social Insider: Cabins with enough space for up to four sailors on 2 lower beds and 2 Pullman setups (Deck 5).
🛏️ The Insider: Typically, sleep two sailors (Deck 5, 9-14). However, the insider cabins on Deck 5 & 9 may sleep up to three sailors with a Pullman bed setup.
Sea View Cabins
The Sea View cabins offer an external option with a cute porthole window but no balcony. Virgin Voyages has two types of Sea View cabins.
🌊👁️ Solo Sea View: Designed for solo sailors, typically located on the Forward side (Deck 9 and Deck 12).
🌊👁️ The Sea View: These cabins typically sleep two sailors and are located on the Forward & Mid sections of the ship (Deck 5, 9-12).
Sea Terrace Cabins
If you are seeking some extra experience, the Sea Terrace cabins have a balcony, and the majority feature the famous red hammock. Virgin Voyages offers four types of sea terrace cabins.

🌊🛏️ The Sea Terrace: Typically can sleep two sailors and are on the Aft, Mid, and Forward sides (Deck 8-14). Some sea terrace cabins may accommodate up to four sailors with an extra lower bed and a Pullman bed setup (Deck 8 & 14).
🌊🛏️ The Central Sea Terrace: Located in the Mid part of the ship (Deck 8-14) and typically sleeps two sailors. A few central sea terrace cabins may accommodate up to three sailors with a Pullman bed (Deck 9-13).
🌊🛏️ Sea Terrace limited view: These cabins are on Deck 8 and some may sleep up to four sailors. Cabins are budget-friendly with balconies because a lifeboat or other ship machinery may obstruct part of your ocean view.
🌊🛏️ XL Sea Terrace Cabins: The XL Sea Terrace cabins elevate the experience with approximately 30% more living space compared to standard Sea Terrace cabins.

Virgin Valiant Lady Cabins Experience: Sea Terrace
I have sailed twice on the Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady. I always opt for The Sea Terrace Cabin due to its layout and comfort.
What does The Sea Terrace Cabin have?
Tip: Don’t hesitate to ask the crew member for additional clothing hooks.

Note: The fridge has enough space to store your two wine bottles, which are allowed onboard.

Tip: You can ask the crew to convert the sofa into a bed at night and back into a couch during the day.
What To Bring For A Better Experience?
The Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady cabin provides the essentials for a pleasant sailing experience. However, I recommend packing a few personal items to enhance your experience.

Virgin Voyages Cabin FAQs
-
Do Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady cabins have coffee makers?
No, there isn’t a coffee maker in any Virgin Voyages cabin. If you want coffee, you have three options:
→ Go to the Galley (15th floor) for drip coffee (this one’s free).
→ Visit On the Grounds Club (7th floor) or Grounds Club Too (at The Galley, 15th floor) for coffee (an additional fee).
→ Order from Ship Eats (Virgin Voyages’ room service). There’s a $10 fee, which can be waived if you order any item $10 or more. -
Are there any solo cabins with balconies in Virgin Voyages’ Valiant Lady?
The only way to get a solo cabin with a balcony on Virgin Voyages is by booking a Sea Terrace cabin and selecting just one sailor. You’ll only pay the fee for one sailor, but since this cabin has a balcony, it can still be more expensive than the Insider or Sea View cabin options.
-
Does Virgin Voyages have wine openers in the cabin?
Yes! There’s a gold corkscrew opener by the water pitchers in your cabin for the wine bottle you’re allowed to bring on board. If you’d like, you can also ask the crew because you can purchase one too. On my last trip, it was $25.
-
Do the sea terrace rooms on Valiant Lady have a hairdryer?
Yes, each cabin has a bag in the closet with a hairdryer that has a foldable handle for easy storage.
