Where Is Seventy Hotel Located?
Seventy Hotel is located in the Eixample, one of my favorite districts in Barcelona, famous for its elegant architecture and wide avenues. It’s located a short walk away from Casa Milà (La Pedrera) and Casa Batlló, two of Gaudí’s most iconic creations.

This location felt one of the safest and most convenient areas to stay in. You can easily walk to nearby attractions, cafes, and the area feels lively yet calm, even at night.
Note: For ideas on how to make the most of your time nearby, you can read my post on What to Do in Barcelona in a Day, which includes both Gaudí landmarks located just minutes from Seventy Hotel.
What’s the Vibe at Seventy Hotel Barcelona?
From the moment we walked in, we could tell this wasn’t your typical city hotel. The lobby’s elegant and calming fragrance immediately caught our attention.
The design feels warm and sophisticated, with walls covered in bookshelves full of colorful books, a white spiral staircase right at the entrance, bright white walls, and wood floors that make the space feel inviting.
Here’s what you can expect from the overall vibe:
What Are the Rooms Like at Seventy Hotel?
Our stay was in a Patio View Room, which came with a king-size bed and a view of the interior courtyard. It was surprisingly spacious, something you don’t always find in Barcelona’s city hotels.

Even though our view faced the interior patio, we actually loved it. You can see small balconies with locals’ laundry hanging, which gives you a glimpse of authentic Barcelona life right from your window.

How Was the Spa Experience?
Overall, the spa was one of the highlights of our Seventy Hotel Barcelona review, because it provided the perfect opportunity to unwind. The moment you walk in, the lighting softens, the music slows, and the calm atmosphere sets the tone for a restful experience.

Here’s what to expect:
Pro Tip: Book spa access when you check in, because time slots can fill up quickly, especially in the evening.
Rooftop & Pool
The hotel also has a rooftop pool with peaceful city views. When we visited in May, the water was a bit too cold to swim, but we still put on our swimsuits to enjoy the sunshine and get a good dose of vitamin D before heading home.

What really surprised us was the view, from the rooftop, that you can actually see Gaudí’s Sagrada Família in the distance. We weren’t expecting that at all, especially since the hotel doesn’t mention it anywhere. It truly felt like a hidden gem.
Is Seventy Hotel Barcelona Worth It?
Yes, Seventy Hotel sits right at the sweet spot of affordable luxury. You get the comfort and attention to detail of a five-star property at a more approachable price.

Who Is Seventy Hotel Barcelona Best For?
Would I Stay Here Again?
Definitely, Seventy Hotel set a new standard for us when it comes to boutique stays. The attention to detail, relaxing spa, and overall sense of care made it the perfect way to end our Mediterranean cruise trip.

The only small downside was the limited vegan food options on the bar menu. However, this wasn’t a big issue since there are several vegan-friendly restaurants nearby, which we covered in the post on where to eat vegan in Barcelona.
In short, Seventy Hotel isn’t just a place to stay, it’s a relaxing experience that combines modern design, thoughtful service, and calm energy in one of Barcelona’s most beautiful neighborhoods.

Whether you’re wrapping up a Mediterranean cruise or starting your Barcelona adventure, it’s a stay that leaves you refreshed and inspired.
