Where is the beach club at Bimini?
The Beach Club is on North Bimini Island in the Bahamas 🇧🇸, and it’s just 50 miles off the Miami, Florida coast.
If you sail with Virgin Voyages from PortMiami, you’ll likely include a full day at The Beach Club at Bimini. Check your trip route before booking to confirm your itinerary includes this experience (if you want to visit the Beach Club).
Virgin Voyages Beach Club Location
Is the Beach Club at Bimini just for Virgin Voyages Cruises?
The Beach Club at Bimini isn’t a private beach of Virgin Voyages, as other cruises and local hotels may also utilize its facilities.
However, whenever a Virgin Voyages Lady Ship docks at Bimini, the property becomes exclusive to Virgin Voyages sailors.

Visiting The Beach Club 🏝️ is our favorite stop, and we know it’s echoed in many Virgin Voyages The Beach Club at Bimini reviews.
The unique vibe, along with the curated entertainment and complimentary food, stands out from the moment you step off the ship. The best part? You don’t have to pay additional to get there or enjoy the facilities.

How Do I Get From the Cruise Ship to the Beach Club?
Virgin Voyages offers complimentary open-air tram service to the Beach Club.
- Tram Ride Duration: 7 to 8 minutes (trams run continuously every 15 minutes, and it makes a first stop at Fisherman’s Village Marina to drop off anyone who books shore things).
- Walking Option: You can walk along the dedicated path (about 20–25 minutes), though we recommend saving your energy for the beach unless you plan to explore locally.
Fisherman’s Village Marina
Exploring Bimini Island
If you’re feeling adventurous and want to explore the island, consider getting off the tram at the first stop at Fisherman’s Village Marina to rent a golf cart.
Tip: Don’t forget to bring cash, because the golf cart rental at Fisherman’s Village Marina isn’t operated as a Virgin Voyages shore thing.
Is The Beach Club Accessible?
Once you arrive at The Beach Club at Bimini, you’ll notice the thoughtful accessibility features in place. Ramps and pathways to pools and the beach ensure friends with limited mobility can enjoy the beach club.

This attention to accessibility is frequently highlighted in Virgin Voyages the Beach Club at Bimini reviews, showing a commitment to providing a welcoming environment for all.

Virgin Voyages The Beach Club at Bimini Reviews: What to Expect
At the Beach Club, you’ll find plenty of spots to sit and relax: hammocks, lounge chairs, umbrellas⛱️, and even swings.
At the main entrance, there’s a lounge area and one of the many bars. After the main entrance, you’ll encounter the two lagoon pools divided by a walkway leading to the beach area.
Pool Party At Virgin Voyages The Beach Club Bimini
One of the most iconic activities in the Virgin Voyages Beach Club is undoubtedly the lively pool party, powered by the electrifying Virgin Voyages DJ and the incredible Happening Cast.

Expect vibrant dancing, bubbles, mermaids 🧜♀️, and colorful pool inflatables to enhance everyone’s enjoyment.
We love the entertainment hosted by the Happening Cast; the DJ will play a mix 🎵 of techno, hip-hop, and reggaeton that gets everyone moving.
Tip: While complimentary lunch is served continuously from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, we recommend eating before 1:00 PM. That way, you’re fully fueled, relaxed, and ready to jump straight into the pool party without holding a plate when the DJ and Happening Cast kick things off from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Where Should You Go If You Want To Chill vs. Get Hyped?
- For High Energy & Dancing: Main Lagoon Pool (closest to the DJ booth and central bar).
- For Relaxing & Napping: The oceanfront loungers, daybeds on the far ends of the beach 🏖️, or the quieter lagoon pool near the RockStar 🎸 Retreat.
Tip: We like to stay by the pool party area, but we’ll admit that the music can get quite loud. If you’re sensitive to noise, a pair of noise-reducing earplugs might be a good idea to bring.
What Is Included In My Visit To The Beach Club at Bimini?

Is Renting a Cabana at Bimini Beach Club Worth It?
If you’re celebrating a special occasion like a birthday, anniversary, or honeymoon, renting a cabana might be a great choice. You’ll get a dedicated service team taking your orders, saving you time heading to the bar for drinks.

The most affordable cabana option (Grove Cabanas) typically starts at $400 per cabana. This fee includes a first round of drinks valued at up to $100. With that bonus in mind, the cabana price could start at around $300. You can see cabana locations on the Virgin Voyages Bimini beach club map.

Keep in mind:
Tip: If renting a cabana is something you want to experience, make sure to book it as soon as you have access to Shore Things, because we’ve noticed they typically get booked fast! Shore Things open 120 days before embarkation (135 days for 🎸 Mega RockStar and RockStar Quarters).
But to be honest, we’ve found that unless you’re celebrating a special occasion, renting a cabana might not be worth it, since there are plenty of chairs and lounges with umbrellas throughout the Beach Club that already provide great shade and comfort without the extra cost.
Can I Use Bar Tab And Sailor Loot At The Beach Club?
Yes, and typically, your visit to the Virgin Voyages Beach Club is the day before disembarkation. If you bought Bar Tab, this is the perfect time to use any remaining balance.
Remember, if you don’t use it, you’ll lose it! If you didn’t buy the Bar Tab or don’t have a remaining balance in your Bar Tab, you can order drinks, and they’ll charge to the credit on file.

You can also use your Sailor Loot balance, which makes it another great spot to enjoy those extra credits before your voyage ends. If you have leftover credit and aren’t sure how to spend it all before disembarking, check out our guide on ways to spend Virgin Voyages Sailor Loot.
Tip: This is an ideal opportunity to buy a refreshing natural water coconut 🥥. You can order it with alcohol or “Virgin”. Don’t forget to take a picture with a lovely stamped message. When you visit Virgin Voyages Beach Club, you don’t have to pack food or basic beverages. However, there are essential items you should consider bringing.

Tip: We honestly recommend avoiding the sun visor hat style. Trust us, you’ll be busy enjoying the pool party and may find yourself in the sun 🌞 for several hours.
Are There Vegan Options at Virgin Voyages Beach Club at Bimini?
Yes! There are vegan and gluten-free options available at the Virgin Voyages Beach Club at Bimini, and they’re surprisingly good. You’ll find fresh, healthy, and refreshing dishes instead of the typical beach food like burgers or hot dogs.

Here’s what you can expect during your visit:

Note: We’ve visited the Beach Club five times, and we’ve noticed small changes in the dish options. The Virgin Voyages Bimini Beach Club food menu in the photo is from my last sail with the Resilient Lady in May 2026.

Even if you decide to stay at the Beach Club, we’re pretty sure you’ll enjoy the day. Whether you’re looking for fun or seeking a relaxing experience, the mixed activities and diverse areas available at the beach club are perfect to accommodate any type of person.
