Where is the beach club at Bimini?
The Beach Club is on the Bimini North Island in the Bahamas 🇧🇸, and it’s just 50 miles off the Florida coast.
If you sail with Virgin Voyages from Miami port, you’ll probably make a stop at The Beach Club at Bimini. Check your trip route before booking to confirm your itinerary includes this experience (if you want to visit the Beach Club).
Virgin Voyages Beach Club Location
Is the beach club at Bimini just for Virgin Voyages cruises?
The Beach Club at Bimini isn’t a private beach of Virgin Voyages, as other cruises and local hotels may also utilize its facilities.
However, Virgin Voyages sailors enjoy the spot exclusively whenever one of the lady ships docks at Bimini.
Visiting The Beach Club 🏝️ is my favorite stop, and I know it’s echoed in many Virgin Voyages The Beach Club at Bimini reviews.
The unique vibe, along with the activities and experiences, stands out from the moment you step off the ship. The best part? You don’t have to pay additional to get there or enjoy the facilities.

How do I get from the cruise ship to the Beach Club?
Virgin Voyages offers complimentary tram transportation to get to the Beach Club at Bimini. Some adventurous souls might decide to walk to The Beach Club (around 20 minutes walking).
But I honestly don’t recommend it, unless you want to explore the area near the port. Taking the tram is definitely my way to go, and you’ll arrive at The Beach Club within 7-8 minutes.
Fisherman’s Village Marina
The tram runs every 15 minutes, and it makes a first stop to drop off anyone who books shore things.
If you’re feeling adventurous and want to explore the island. Consider getting off the tram at the first stop at Fisherman’s Village Marina to rent a golf cart.
Tip: Don’t forget to bring cash! Because the golf cart rental at Fisherman’s Village Marina isn’t a Virgin Voyages shore thing.
Is The Beach Club Accessible?
Once you arrive at The Beach Club at Bimini, you’ll notice the thoughtful accessibility features in place. Ramps and pathways to pools and the beach ensure friends with limited mobility can enjoy the beach club.
This attention to accessibility is frequently highlighted in Virgin Voyages the Beach Club at Bimini reviews. Showing a commitment to providing a welcoming environment for all.

What To Expect At The Beach Club?
At the Beach Club, you’ll find plenty of spots to sit and relax: hammocks, lounge chairs, umbrellas⛱️, and even swings.
At the main entrance, there’s a lounge area and one of the many bars. After the main entrance, you’ll encounter the two lagoon pools divided by a walkway leading to the beach area.
Pool Party At Virgin Voyages The Beach Club Bimini
One of the most iconic activities in the Virgin Voyages Beach Club is undoubtedly the lively pool party. Powered by the electrifying Virgin Voyage DJ and the incredible Happening Cast.
Expect vibrant dancing, bubbles, mermaids 🧜♀️, and colorful pool inflatables to enhance everyone’s enjoyment.
I love the entertainment hosted by the Happening Cast; the DJ will play a mix 🎵 of techno, hip-hop, and reggaeton that gets everyone moving.
Make sure you grab your complimentary snacks at the Beach Club before 1 pm because the pool party typically kicks off from 1 to 3 PM.

Where should you go if you want to chill vs. get hyped?
If you prefer a more serene experience at the Beach Club without the energetic vibe of the pool party, you can hang out at the beach area 🏖️ or stay in the lagoon pool located near the rockstar 🎸 sailors area.
Tip: Personally, I like to stay by the pool party area, but I will admit that the music can get a bit loud 📢 at times. If you’re sensitive to noise, a pair of earplugs might be a good idea to bring.
What is included in my visit to the Beach Club at Bimini?
What Cabanas Are Available at the Virgin Voyages Beach Club at Bimini?
For an additional fee, you can rent a cabana at the Virgin Voyages Beach Club at Bimini. The prices can vary depending on the location you choose.
You’ll find cabanas with a lovely beach view, a poolside view, or a VIP area called Rockstar’s Retreat.
Typically, these Beach Club cabanas come with:
Note: The cabanas in the VIP area are primarily reserved for Rockstar sailors. However, check out the Virgin Voyages app, because some may be available for regular sailors if they aren’t fully booked. Plus, booking a cabana here gives you access to the exclusive Rockstar area at the Bimini Beach Club!

Is Renting a Cabana at Bimini Worth It?
If you’re celebrating a special occasion like a birthday, anniversary, or honeymoon, renting a cabana might be a great choice. You’ll get a dedicated service team taking your orders, saving you time heading to the bar for drinks.
The cheapest cabana price (Grove Cabanas) I have seen is $400 per cabana. This fee includes a first round of drinks valued at up to $100. With that bonus in mind, the cabana price could start at around $300. You can see cabana locations on the Virgin Voyages Bimini beach club map.
Keep in mind:
Tip: If renting a cabana is something you want to experience, make sure to book it as soon as you have access to Shore Things, because I’ve noticed they typically get booked fast! Shore Things open 120 days before embarkation (135 days for 🎸 Mega RockStar and RockStar Quarters).
But to be honest, I’ve found that unless you’re celebrating a special occasion, renting a cabana might not be worth it, since there are plenty of chairs and lounges with umbrellas throughout the Beach Club that already provide great shade and comfort without the extra cost.
Can I use my Bar Tab at the Beach Club?
Yes, and typically, your visit to the Virgin Voyages Beach Club is the day before disembarkation. If you bought Bar Tap, this is the perfect time to use any remaining balance.
Remember, if you don’t use it, you’ll lose it! If you didn’t buy the Bar Tab or don’t have a remaining balance in your Bar Tab. You can order drinks and they’ll charge to the credit on file.
You can also use your Sailor Loot balance here, which makes it another great spot to enjoy those extra credits before your voyage ends.
Tip: This is an ideal opportunity to buy a refreshing natural water coconut 🥥. You can order it with alcohol or “Virgin”. Don’t forget to take a picture with a lovely stamped message. What to pack for Virgin Voyages Bimini Beach Club?
When you visit Virgin Voyages Beach Club, you don’t have to pack food or basic beverages. However, there are essential items you should consider bringing.
Tip: I honestly recommend avoiding the sun visor hat style. Trust me, you’ll be busy enjoying the pool party and may find yourself in the sun 🌞 for several hours.
Are There Vegan Options at Virgin Voyages Beach Club at Bimini?
Yes! There are vegan and gluten-free options available at the Virgin Voyages Beach Club at Bimini, and they’re surprisingly good. You’ll find fresh, healthy, and refreshing dishes instead of the typical beach food like burgers or hot dogs.
Here’s what you can expect during your visit:

Note: I’ve visited the Beach Club four times, and I’ve noticed small changes in the dish options. The Virgin Voyages Bimini Beach Club food menu in the photo is from my last sail with the Valiant Lady in October 2024.

Why You Shouldn’t Miss The Beach Club At Bimini?
I highly recommend taking advantage of this complimentary experience. After all, you won’t have to pay extra unless you want to enjoy non-complimentary beverages. But if you’ve already visited and want to explore Bimini Island, you can try any of the Virgin Voyages excursions or even rent a golf cart from the locals.
Even if you decide to stay at the Beach Club, I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy the day. Whether you’re looking for fun or seeking a relaxing experience, the mixed activities and diverse areas available at the beach club are perfect to accommodate any type of person.
